R.I.P.

Less than three months after her maiden voyage the Fast Ferry sits idle next to the 16 million dollar new terminal also built with the Rochester taxpayer's money.

Even though it is said that 140,000 passengers rode the Ferry in three months, and was showing a profit, we're now told that it is bankrupt.

Without warning, the Canadian American Transportation Systems (CATS) pulled the Fast Ferry from service, stranding its passengers in Canada.

They were forced to seek their own transportation home.

Taxpayers were told by CATS and Mayor Johnson that The Breeze needed an addition 42 million dollars to make her sail again.

How do you spell "screwed"?
